Dr. ABM Rezbaul Islam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas. He is a distinguished academic with a rich computer science and engineering background. He completed his Bachelor's from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, and his Master's from Ajou University, South Korea. Dr. Islam earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of North Texas, USA. His research interests lie in Machine Learning applications in computer vision and mHealth technology. He has contributed significantly to the field with journal publications, book chapters, and conference papers.
Dr. Islam has secured research grants, notably the AI/ML-powered Multilingual Mobile App for Depression Detection funded by the NIH. His dedication to research and development in technology for societal benefits is evident.
