Alexa Callahan

I am a third-year clinical psychology doctoral student at Sam Houston State University. I'm originally from Omaha, Nebraska, and I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Spanish and Criminology/Criminal Justice and a concentration in Forensic Psychology. My undergraduate research largely focused on the perpetration of foreign and domestic violent extremism. My current research interests include personality assessment--especially among underrepresented populations and individuals involved in the criminal justice system, forensic assessment, and violence perpetration. I presented a paper as a first author at the SPA Annual Convention in 2024, and I look forward to presenting another paper at the 2025 convention.
