Professional Bio

Casey Lee is a third-year doctoral student reading Clinical Psychology at Duquesne University. Under the mentorship of Dr. Patrick McElfresh and Dr. Jessie Goicoechea, she works in a collaborative research group that is currently studying limitations of the Thematic Apperception Test in accessing the cultural experiences and intersectional identities of diverse individuals. This project, titled Use of Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) with Diverse Populations: Exploring Trainee Psychologists’ Experiences, will be presented at the 2023 Society for Personality Assessment convention. Moving forward, Casey hopes to pursue further research on the international use of personality assessment and clinical tools, with a particular focus on the intersection of collaborative assessment, multiculturalism, and mixed-method approaches.
