Professional Bio

Cassandra is currently a fourth-year Clinical Psychology doctoral student at the Florida Institute of Technology. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia in 2015 and her Master’s degree from Florida Tech in 2023. Cassandra’s professional interests center on working with children and their families, conducting comprehensive evaluations and neurodevelopmental assessments. She also has a strong interest in personality assessment and is committed to advancing research and practice within diverse communities.

Deeply committed to multiculturalism and diversity, Cassandra strives to integrate cultural contexts into her professional work to promote inclusivity and equity in psychological practice. Under the mentorship of Dr. Radhika Krishnamurthy, Psy.D., ABAP. Cassandra has been conducting her doctoral research, which examines the impacts of external factors, such as racial stress, on the psychological adjustment of African American communities. This work underscores her dedication to understanding and addressing the intersection of personality assessment and cultural factors.

Beyond her academic and clinical pursuits, Cassandra finds joy in life’s simple pleasures. Whether reading her favorite book by the beach, admiring Florida’s stunning sunsets, or spending meaningful time with loved ones, she approaches each moment with gratitude. An avid traveler, she loves exploring new and adventurous destinations, embodying her belief that life is a journey, not a destination.
