Professional Bio
Courtney Wiesepape received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Indiana State University in 2022 after completing her undergraduate work at the University of Texas. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center working with Veterans diagnosed with serious mental illness. She is currently completing a post-doctoral fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine focusing on adapting a group psychotherapy intervention that targets stigma for individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis. Her research and clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of serious mental illness, primarily psychotic disorders, through a metacognitive lens. She is also interested in the experience of subjective recovery and combating stigma.
