Professional Bio
Haley Hintz (she/her), M.S., is a clinical psychology doctoral student at Eastern Kentucky University and founding member of the Collaborative Assessment of Neurodiversity (CAN) research lab. Hintz’s current research is broadly focused on improving and understanding the utility of common assessment measures on populations of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is passionate about her clinical work which includes the assessment and treatment of children with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families in rural areas. Hintz previously worked for the U.S. House of Representatives to advance access to affordable mental health care through policy and continues to engage in legislative, state-based outreach efforts to prevent trauma and suicide. She is the current co-president of the Kentucky Psychology Association Graduate Student Committee. Her hobbies include spending time with loved ones, cycling, and listening to Taylor Swift.
