Professional Bio
Sydney Stone is a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at Palo Alto University and is specializing in forensic psychology. She received her master's degree in clinical psychology at Missouri State Univeristy with a certification in child forensic psychology and her bachelor's degrees in psychology, sociology, and criminal justice at Arkansas Tech Univeristy.
Sydney is a member of the Trauma and Personality Studies (TAPS) lab at Palo Alto University under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Yalch. Her current research focuses on the associations of childhood maltreatment with schizoid and paranoid personality pathology. Her research and clinical interests include maladaptive personality pathology, personality assessment, and trauma within forensic populations as well as policy and prevention. Sydney is currently receiving her clinical training at a local correctional facility and aims to pursue a career post-graduation in forensic assessment and correctional health.
