Tyler Barnes

Tyler M. Barnes (they/them) is a second year Master's student in the Sam Houston State University Clinical Psychology program in Huntsville, Texas. They graduated with their Bachelors of Science in Psychology, minor in Criminal Justice, from Sam Houston State University in December 2022. Their research interests broadly fall within trauma; however, Tyler's interests primarily concern childhood sexual abuse, familial trafficking of children by their parents, developmental differences between siblings or other close-in-age family members who grew up in unstable or otherwise abusive familial situations, measure development, assessment of complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. They hope to continue on into a PhD program after completing their Master's degree.
