Assessment and Diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria in Adults: Current Guidelines and Practices in Gender Affirming Care
In this presentation we will learn the actual diagnostic criteria for gender dysphoria and review the current guidelines and best practices for assessing gender dysphoria. We will discuss the most recent World Professional Association of Transgenderf Health (WPATH) Standards of Care and explore measures for assessing gender dysphoria. Focusing on empirically supported techniques and measures, this presentation will provide an introduction to foundational concepts of gender dysphoria.
