Obligations of Presenters

• If applicable, for participants to receive their CE credits, the session must be provided for its scheduled duration.
• All presenters are expected to ensure the security of tests and proprietary information, as well as the confidentiality of individuals and organizations. You as a presenter agree to ensure the presentation does not engage in copyright infringement.
• All presenters are expected to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of any people who are the subjects of their presentations. No test data or case materials should include identifying information, and case histories must be sufficiently altered to prevent identification.
• Consistent with APA Continuing Education standards, presenters are expected to include statements that describe the accuracy and utility of the materials presented, the basis of such statements, the limitations of the content being taught, and the severe/most common risks.
• Consistent with the APA Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct, as well as the APA Continuing Education standards, presenters must clearly describe any commercial support for the workshop and/or presenter(s) to your participants at the start of the workshop. Any other relationships that could be reasonably construed as a conflict of interest also must be disclosed.
• You warrant that your presentation will not violate any proprietary or personal rights of others (including any copyright, trademark and privacy rights), is factually accurate, and contains nothing defamatory or otherwise unlawful, and agree to hold SPA harmless from any lawsuit resulting from the inaccuracy or breach of these assurances.
• I acknowledge that my presentation may be live-streamed and recorded by SPA. If SPA receives my explicit permission, I hereby authorize SPA to record and post any portion of my session on their website, ensuring test security and patient privacy. I hereby waive all claims including, but not limited to, monetary compensation and royalties, resulting from the recording, and duplicating of the aforesaid. Such recordings may be used by SPA for continuing education purposes, as well as for promotional reasons. Upon request, SPA will provide me with a recording of my presentation in a format designated by SPA . I hereby agree not to duplicate the recording, or to use or grant use of the recording for commercial purposes.
