The Elephant in the Room - Whiteness in Psychology and Law (1 CE)

Abstract 

As a board-certified forensic psychologist, Dr. Kavanaugh will describe the concept of Whiteness; discuss hot it applies to law and different aspects of forensic psychology, including education, research, and assessment; and discuss how it impacts marginalized people. Dr. Kavanaugh will offer suggestions for what psychologists can do to mitigate the impact of Whiteness.
